What surface can the tent be set up on?
Grass is ideal, since we anchor the tent with ground stakes for a secure setup. Need it on concrete, asphalt, or another hard surface? Give us a call and we'll discuss weighted anchoring options for your specific location. Either way, allow a few extra feet of clearance around the tent footprint, and make sure there are no overhead power lines or branches in the area.
Do I need to call SC811 before my tent setup?
If your tent is being installed on grass, yes — it's the customer's responsibility to contact SC811 (Call Before You Dig) before your event. Tent stakes go several feet into the ground, and calling 811 ensures any underground utility lines (gas, electric, water, fiber) are marked so we can install safely. South Carolina law requires you to submit a request at least three full business days ahead, and the service is completely free — just dial 811, call (888) 721-7877, or visit sc811.com. If our crew arrives and there's any concern about unmarked underground lines in the staking area, we may not be able to safely put the tent up. This only applies to grass installations — concrete and asphalt setups use weighted anchors instead of stakes.
How many guests does the 20x20 tent seat?
A 20x20 tent comfortably covers a seating and serving area for a backyard-sized gathering — roughly 30–40 guests seated at tables, or more for a standing/cocktail-style setup. Why would I need to rent a generator?
Inflatables, concessions, and lights all need power. If your event is at a park, field, or any location without an outlet within reach (about 50 feet), a generator keeps everything running. If you're not sure whether you'll need one, just ask when you book and we'll help you plan it out.
Do the tables come with tablecloths?
Tablecloths are not included with the tables, so plan to bring your own linens for a finished look. Have a question about sizing or quantities? Give us a call and we're happy to help.
Does the price include setup and delivery?
Tents, tables, and chairs include professional delivery and setup, although additional fees may apply for areas farther out. Your delivery fee is calculated by address at checkout, so you'll see your full total before you pay. Remember, prices do not include sales tax.
How far in advance should I book?
For graduations, weddings, and peak-season events, we recommend booking 2–4 weeks ahead — tents and seating book out fast on busy weekends. For smaller gatherings, a week or two is usually fine, but earlier is always better.
